Navy Micro Gingham Pouch

I think I might finally have this gingham fixation out of my system! πŸ’™πŸ€ For this version, I stuck with my usual 3-stitch-wide by 1-row-high linked double crochet grid. To keep the pouch completely sag-free, I went with my trusted lining method: hand-sewing a foundation single crochet chain directly to the top of a canvas zippered pouch and working downward. It actually took me three of these bags to realize that working in the round causes a slight slant in the grid pattern. Definitely a "live and learn" moment! It’s not quite what I aimed for, but I’m still going to use the heck out of this bag and hope nobody notices. 🀫 I also tried Tunisian crochet for the wrist strap hoping for total rigidity. It ended up with a bit more stretch than expected, but it still carries comfortably.
